Introduction to submersible pump:
A submersible pump is similar to a centrifugal pump with the same design as a diffuser or turbine pump, it helps to make their shape compact.
It pushes water to the surface instead of sucking water out of the ground like ground water pumps.
A submersible pump is a pump that may be situated under the water and still serves its intended function, these are usually multistage pumps, so that the higher heads can be developed.
Submersible pumps are efficient, maintenance-free, silent and long-lasting.
Types of Submersible Pumps:
1.Bladder Submersible Pump:
The bladder pump is a non-contact, constructive displacement, pneumatically operated pump that uses compressed air.
The use bladder pumps for groundwater, sampling requires a controller that enables flow rates and cycles on the floor to be controlled.
2.Grinder Submersible Pump:
This is a wastewater drainage machine.
Once the wastewater contained in the tank reaches a selected stage, the pump will activate, grind the waste into an effective resolution then it is pumped into a central sewer system or septic tank.
Grinder pumps may be installed in basements or yards.
3.Well Submersible Pumps:
These are highly efficient devices that uses the centrifugal force to drain water from the underground reservoir in your home.
The type of water pump depends on the depth of the well and many horse powers is needed to successfully pump the water.
4.Borehole Submersible Pumps:
These types of pumps used to regulate water or provide in various mining, farming, deep wells, rainwater retention, and petroleum seize functions.
5.Fountain Submersible Pump:
Fountain pumps are designed to provide water movement for equipment used for aesthetic functions and aeration in residential.
6.Utility Submersible Pumps:
Utility pumps are devices that are capable of pumping large amounts of fluid in a short period of time.
Typically, these devices are made of plastic, thermoplastic or stainless steel.
- Inspect the well, search for the indicators of exterior damage to the casing, test the depth and level of standing water.
- The motor is fitted to the pump.
- Split drop cable to motor cable to supply cable split kit.
- Lay the pump assembly next to a water well.
- Roll out the mounting main as well as the drop cable.
- Attach the drop cable 4-6 m (13.1–19.7 feet) in addition to the mounting main with 4-6 turns of grey duct tape.
- Check that the fittings are tight and cables are safe and sluggish to permit a stretch.
- If the load of the assembly cannot be safely managed, a curler made from the wheel of the automobile can be used.
Advantages of Submersible Pump:
These pumps are safer than different kinds of pumps as all probably harmful components of the pumps are stored underwater.
It is often coated and rarely consists of the potential for tampering the internal elements and valves.
2. Noise Level:
Submersible pumps produce small quantities of noise because it is submerged underwater.
It helps soften the sound caused by the pump.

Disadvantages of Submersible Pump:
1. These pumps have a short life because it collides together with your pond and sits.

Application of Submersible Pump:
- Single-stage pumps are used for drainage, sewage pumping, industrial pumping, and slurry pumping.
- They are also common with aquarium filters.
- Multiple-stage submersible pumps are usually discharged below the borehole and are used in water streams, water wells, and oil wells.
- It should only be used for pumping clean and cold water that is non-corrosive and non-abrasive to the pump material.
- It is used for irrigation in drinking water supply installations, pressure boosting air conditioning systems, industrial plants, cooling water systems, fountains, seawater desalination, etc.

The submerged pump was powered by its own power source, educator trucks could switch off their engines while being filled, also reduced fuel costs.
This was the same pattern for both the main power version and the generator-powered version which was largely sound-proof.
